Just sick.
 I understand that many who mistreat animals, progress violence on people. Zero tolerance for it in Arizona. Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the toughest Sheriff in America, has been making major arrests on anyone who mistreats an animal here. And on the rehabilitation front, his jail has also taken over housing, care and treatment of the animals. This work is all done by the inmates and they love it! Saved the county a ton of money.  |

in my experience, such things as cruelty stem from an utter and complete lack of brain-cellls- they aren't aware to the fact that dousing such dangerous chemicals as gasoline on living beings can be FATAL. they aren't aware that they can be arrested for serious charges if they're caught inflicting harm to defenseless animals. it's like forrest gump once said, "stupid is as stupid does". You are so right. I have gone to court with a lot of these sick b@@@@@@@. And in every case, save two, they knew what they were doing and delighted in the torture. These are tomorrows killers and torturers. They start with something small and work their way up. Sick, yes. Disgusting, yes. Can we do something about it, we're trying. It has become a felony in almost all of the 50 states for animal cruelty. We just need more people to speak out against these heartless b@@@@@@@! |

aside from the man loves gore and killing and needs to dominate bit..cruelty to animals is the first sign of abuse to a child, especially sexual abuse.
Children that have been sexually tortured (my word, abuse seems to "tame")..will act out their feelings of powerlessness by abusing animals...serial killers and other violent offenders who have acknowledge being sexual abused as children have spoken about abusing animals as the first step into deeper and darker forms of power-seeking practices, culminating in abusing and/or murdering other people... |

I have noticed that to be the case in a lot of cruelty cases I've been on, though certainly not the norm. My response has always been I was sexually abused several times and I rescue animals. Never have I abused an animal. |
