I have camped in the Rockies of Colorado and the Alleghenies of PA. The stars on a clear night can be very intoxicating!!!.....Oh wait...that was the bottle of Schnapps...lol

Who needs a tent? Sleep out in the open air and look at the stars or watch the clouds go by. That's camping. I love to go and welcome the opportunity, especially in the fall when it's not miserably hot, but not too cold either. Thats my wat of camping!!Abunch of blankets,A bunch of beer.Oh yea.Only way to go!!!!!!

The skeeters are horrible here. My tent kept them out. If I slept in the woods without some protection from them Id wake up a pint dry and with westnile

Actually, I like the survival mode alot. Gives you a sense of what living without what man has made. Brings about a sense of greatness in what God has created too. I'm alot like Bear Grills on "Man VS Wild". But, to make everyone else comfortable, I will go tent camping. I just really enjoy nature and seeing firsthand of what God meant life to be. |

back in junior high..or maybe elementary school we had a survivial day and we spent the day in the woods during the winter. We made trail mix and wore snow shoes and had to make a fire in the snow and we were only given one match if we had to ask for another one we'd lose a grade point. Dang it was windy that day...but I got an A
