Kind of, have a friend who I figured might be better if we just communicated via email after a while, and yet she still keeps calling. She called today, even after I was clear yesterday that we stop with the phone. Didn't answer though, and will reiterate what I told her yesterday when I speak to her next online.

How clear were you that you were no longer going to communicate ever again and the behavior was escalating to illegal? No, that would be menacing and such. Telephone harrassment is calling excessively after you've asked for it to stop. People get charged with that for calling 911 too much (in addition to misuse of 911 system) I do believe you're in Stark County, yes? It is just a misdemeanor most places, including there. But you need to make it clear that his behavior is unwanted. Or you can block his number from your phone. It might be worth it. |

Oh hell yea...the thing is she isn't even interested in me and I'm not interested in her...but when the it hits the fan with her ex she calls me nonstop like I can fix the bloody issue.

Start documenting the calls/contacts, don't delete the texts, and tell him you are aware you can take legal action. Court costs, fines, community service.... none of it is fun. Plus the Stark Jail is terrible.
