I agree. In my situation it is not possible for me to consider moving out of the area for years. So, starting a LDR seems like a bad idea. In my experience, LDRs always sound better initially then they turn out to be in reality. Of course, the few attempts I made were invariably with psychotic monstrosities, and that may have contributed to the problem.... |

SORRY, I DON'T KNOW YOU, SO I HAVE NOTHING TO WRITE THERE........YOU HAVE BEEN A MEMBER FOR OVER A YEAR NOW, AND ONLY HAVE 144 POST. THE BEST WAY TO MAKE FRIENDS IS TO GET INTO THESE FORUMS AND TALK TO PEOPLE.....THEN YOU WILL START GETTTING TESTIMONIALS. JMO  I'm curious then......the people that have over 10,000 posts.....or even better than THAT....what about the people that have over 30 or 40 thousand posts...... Why are they still single??????? Just a question....... |

Of course, the few attempts I made were invariably with psychotic monstrosities, and that may have contributed to the problem.... Yeah, I know it contributed to my past LDR's. But, I am no longer psychotic. Or a monstrosity....well, maybe a little monstrosity left over.

Sometimes the LDR you have hung your hopes upon turn out to be something completely different that what they have portrayed themselves to you... Alas we must not give up hope b/c of people that have wronged us in some way. We must continue to hope knowing that are Soulmate is out there looking for us as well... IMHO |
