I was reading an article about the Hobbit movie. That they were going to film the Hobbit and the sequel back to back.

The sequel. The 'sequel' was the Fellowship of the rings, so to speak, and it has already been done.

So what in the world is this sequel of which they speak??


Or are they doing the first film the part of the novel that deals with getting the ring and the second movie the part about reclaiming the dwarven mountain?


Anyone heard anything? Or anyone have any ideas?

The Hobbit itself is the prequel. So I don't understand how it can have a sequel when those were already made into movies.

in the books...theres a ton of stories they could get into...not sure though

The rumor is that there will the The Hobbit 1, which will be the Hobbit book and then The Hobbit 2, which will be a movie linking The Hobbit to Fellowship of the Rings.
