Anybody else seeing huge delays in email notifications? I'll get a message on mingle in the middle of the day and get notified on my external account of that email 12 hours later. And often my notifications will come in out of the order that mingle mails were received. Don't think it's my email provider, but I suppose it could be.

Just stay on the site all the time and don't send the notifications to your private account. There'd be no need.

Anyway- this problem was happening to me and ALOT of other people the last few days. They're working on fixing the bugs

There were several threads about this yesterday, mail is being delayed 10-20 hours behind delivery.

Lol! Why didn't I think of that? I can already hear the conversation from my boss.....

"It says here you spent all day on a sight called Mingle2.com."

"Well.. uh.. yeah... well, I have to stay connected because my email notifications might not be very timely and I can't afford to not read my emails the moment they're sent. I might miss out on some drama, a thread rollover, or a really important posting about Canadians."

[Concerned stare] "Let me walk you down to HR. We'll have your stuff boxed up for you when you get back"

Ohh, this sort of thing happens all the time. I finally decided I needed to be fluent in tanglish (Tangled English).... although sometimes I can't get it either. Us regular posters take turns translating if we can figure it out.

This was happening yesterday (the mail server ws backed up), but it doesn't appear to be a problem anymore. When was the last time you noticed an extreme delay, tngxl65?

I've been getting them the next day too, as of this morning... OK, unless someone actually DID shoot one today and I just don't know it yet! LOL

Yes, it did happen a lot yesterday, but I sure thought it did this morning. I could be wrong. It's tough to tell since I delete my notifications after I receive them.

But it appears that someone is aware there was an issue, which is really all i was wondering about.
