A guy I know asked me this... If you thought you were going to die,
would you tell someone secrets that you have about yourself.. no
matter what they were.. even if you were bi, Gay, or even a
crossdresser.. I told him I didn't know... does anyone feel the
same way, telling secrets about themselves if they thought they
were going to die.. would it be alright to tell secrets if you
thought you were going to die??

If I was going to do that, I would write it in a letter with
instructions that it could not be opened until after I was dead.

I don't think I would.. if I've kept them secret all THIS time.. why
would I want people to be hurt by them NO.. if I were dying now say..
Naw.. I'll tell them if/when I ever meet up with them in paradise

Well you did say "thought" you were going to die...suppose you told all
these secrets...then lived..LOL but just for sake of philosophy..I'd
say...if you did want anyone to know these secrets while you were
alive...why tell them when your dead?

Some secrets need to go to the grave with you.
Puts an end to whatever you felt needed to be hid.
anything I have kept this long, I will continue to keep.

Think I would agree with Lex on this but only for secrets that someone
should really know, like if it were to affect someone else's life, say I
had a child whose biological father was not who they thought it was -
the person who had raised them, I would put the info in an envelope and
seal it and leave it with an attorney with instructions for it to be
opened only in the case of a medical emergency, need for a kidney
transplant, something like that. Other frivolous stuff, sexual
preferences, I don't see that as any big deal, people are entitled to
their preferences. Some families consider it a big issue and in that
case would do what Zero says and just let it go to the grave with me,
they wouldn't need to know if it would only hurt them.

Agree marie..but I think she was saying those personal secrets...the
other kind..like knowing who committed a murder or other crime or just
info that would help another..might be a secret to tell...

ok.i know that this happened to me once when a friend WAS dying.he
handed me 8 envelopes.had me sign a piece of paper swearing that i would
deliver these envelopes to the designated parties involved.little did i
know that there was $800,000.00 in my possession.also there was a copy
of the will as well.stating what was who's.BUT they also held a deep
dark secret.i do not even know what it was.i was sworn to deliver these
envelopes under the direct order of the court(lawyer).i had gone back
after the envelopes were delivered.i got paid $2,000.00 for doing so.but
my friend passed away as i was cashing the cheque.

ahh Zero..just teasing..I believe a different thing on any giving
day...have a real problem with that dilema..lol
