Well so far JB, my investigation into this has led me to believe that as far as the research I've done so far that the Kabbalah "numerology" aspect of this book are not in line.

Though the Kabbalah mysticism predates anything of the books origin in time, the Numerology seems not to have been introduced until many centuries later - but I'll keep on investigating till i have enough to say for sure one way or the other.....

my mission is to see when and where in Jewish history the Kabbalahist started using the type of numerology that is mentioned by the author of your book, once that is found, then i can proceed from there with a further investigation of later numerology of the K's to see if the early numerology mathches the later centuries numerlogy or if there is some type of mixture going on between the 2 - that should give ground's one way or the other as to the factualness of what the author states.

i wont have answers im sure til next week at the earliest. - if you in the meantime want to look further into the numerology aspect being presented in the book that would be god also as to comparing notes. i really think that it all hangs or falls on what the numerology's used are and when they came into being as to first things first.

From what I am reading, Piso developed his own numbering systems from Pythagoras's method which was developed centuries before:

You have to realize that the Piso's hated the Jews and persecuted and slaughtered may of them. His numbering system, if he developed it from the Pythagoras system may have been in effect before any Jewish system of Kabbalah mysticism. I don't really know about that.

This also could be a clue of why the Pythagoras system was destroyed or hidden. ..to keep the secrets.

***** From the book:

"Centuries before, the Greek philosopher Pythagoras had developed the method of expressing ideas through the numerical equivalents of a word’s letters. Piso took and
refined this Pythagorean "mathematics" and by it utilized Greek numerical code, basically three systems:

1. SMALL NUMBERING. (When the same system was used by the Jews in Hebrew, they called it Mispar Koran .) Each letter in Greek had a numerical equivalent.

But in small numbering, the zeros were deleted. Thus, in Greek his family name was spelled Kalpournios Piso and had the following numerical equivalents:.....(the rest in the book)

(I could not print the Greek letters that were in the book in this post.)

2. INITIAL SYSTEM. This involved using only the initial letters of the names but with full numerical (not small numbering) values... (in the book)

3. SEQUENCE SYSTEM. This was used with, and as an extension of, systems 1 or 2. Each Greek letter also had its assigned sequence in the order of the letters in the Alphabet. (In the book)

So although I don't understand the confusing system he is claiming the Piso's used, I am absorbing it little by little.

Well we have to say religious texts of any kind have an agenda or something to push so they should be the least reliable for factual accounts that is for sure.

To find unbiased accounts one must read both sides of any story or all sides if more than two. Then piece it together with the information that is coinciding of the two accounts. Then do some investigating on ones own of the "holes" in both sides to fill in the blanks and then one may have the closest to unbiased that will ever be known. We know for a fact that whoever is in power at the time the history is written will write it to fit them, we have seen it here in our history books used to teach our children.

HMMM? if there using >0< [zero] in mathematics there seems to be a problem zero did not exist then.

Zero did not exist when?

(If the first Joseph in Egypt in the Jewish Bible was sold for 20 pieces of silver and Jesus was sold for 30 peices of silver, how can you say that there were no zero's existing then?)

Piso refined this Pythagorean "mathematics" and by it utilized Greek numerical code, basically three systems:

1. SMALL NUMBERING. (When the same system was used by the Jews in Hebrew, they called it Mispar Koran .) Each letter in Greek had a numerical equivalent.

But in small numbering, the zeros were deleted.

(Is deleting the zeros a Pythagorean method?)

Sorry JB, i did not mean to inply that the concept of Nothing or nil was not known- only that the number or simbol of zero was not used until the 4th century AD, invented supposedly by a hindu named Aryabhatta in india a mathematician.

the greeks as far as i know like the hindus left a space after a number to indicate nil, nothing, as to romans [first century AD] you know they used numerals only - X was 1>0<, XX was 20 and so on. I'm not a math man either G, so abra or someone else would be a better bet on pythagorean math - i do know that he was 5th/6th century BC, and that his theroms were not like what is sayed to be in what i've read - but i can't say for sure.

Perhaps the numberless system existed before Pythagoras put his own system out there. I was unaware of when Pythagoras actually lived, but this mathematical system may have been around long before him. Perhaps he just discovered it and brought forth his own version.

Abra would probably know about this stuff more than me. Where is he? Where is our expert mathmatician?

If there is a numbering system that exists without zeros, it probably comes from the advanced society (aliens) who were behind the upgrading and teaching of humans towards civilization. If there is a mathematical system that is correct and ours is wrong, then it has existed for a long time and probably used by another advanced civilization.

I wonder if anything existed before Roman Numerals.

sorry JB, he was 6th cent. BC they could have been used but his theroms are not such as show by pisos book - you'll probalny have to write something about christian religion to get abra to answer here - laugh Maybe that the sybol zero is proof of jesus. flowerforyou
