I am looking at a new car - anyone have a scion & what do you think of them?
Why did you choose one? |

My ex brother in law has one, and he loves it.

Just dont get the Xb...being shaped like a box hurts your gas mileage.

Scions should be good, they are a Toyota!!

xB's still get around 25 MPG even with their boxy shape. so fuel economy isn't a concern. being seen driving one IS a concern, though.

I wasnt saying it was bad...but wit hthe box shape, the higher the speed, the more dramatic the mpg will drop do to the drag it causes. Just think how much better it would do if it were more stream lined. |

they are trendymobiles...they have a bad power band and are not race tuned for ****...if you want sheer asthetics, its all you if you want performance there are a lot of better cars in that class...but whatever you do get a manual! if you dont know how im sorry...its just fun to drive manual...not to mention better gas mileage

I would say its a good buy for a small car. Decent gas milage and minimal maintenance.
I, on the other hand, drive a LAND YAUGHT of an american car and get horrible gas milage... so don't do as I do, do as I say |

i love how the last 7 and a half years have worked out...the oil industry lobbied against mileage minimums, then took office and then made the price of gas well...use your imagination about the explitive here...if colonel sanders was in office and the price of chicken did the same the would impeach his southern fried ass

yeah. myka's poor-man's-bentley gets CRAPPY gas mileage.
the only problem with driving a car with manual tranny shows itself when you're stuck in rush-hour traffic- you'll be doing the "Soupy Soft-shoe" shuffling between the gas, brake, and clutch until you can't take it no more. i DO like shifting manually, though- you get more control over what your car will do, and it's just plain fun. |

if you are good at driving manual there is no prob at all...and you are a lot faster on the take off so traffic is easier...in my opinion

Don't be talkin sh!te on my car Moof... you're just jealous
|

yeah, your right...
... but my ten year-old POS truck STILL gets better mileage. |

I am not a big fan of the ToasterOnWheels look, but I was wondering about the sedans.
Does anyone know how big the back seats are? |
