If I recall correctly.. it is because that part of the body is formed BEFORE the gender of the fetus evident. A certain amount of fetus growth is in place before the process of gender & gender related genitalia is formed. Thus everyone is born with them |

As embryos men and women have similar tissues and body parts... From the start the embryo follows a 'female route'...
That is why nipples are present in both sexes... It is the Y chromosome and the hormone testosterone that brings about the changes and masculinities the embryo... Testosterone promotes the growth of the penis and testicles... Because nipples are there before this process begins.... Nipples stay......... YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! |
