...Kool-aid stains from clothing Things You’ll Need: Kool-Aid Stained Clothing 1 Cup of Bleach 1 Cup of Powdered Laundry Detergent 1 Cup of Powdered Automatic Dishwasher Detergent How to Remove Kool-Aid Stains from Clothing Step1. Run hot water in a sink or wash basin, stir in 1 cup of bleach, 1 cup of powdered laundry detergent and 1 cup of automatic dishwasher powder. As a rule, this method of Kool-Aid stain removal only applies to clothing that can withstand chlorine bleach. Step2. Wait until all of the solutions have dissolved. It should take no longer than five minutes. Step3. Add 4 gallons of hot water to the sink or wash basin. Place clothing with Kool-Aid stains into the water and them soak for 20 minutes. Step4. Drain sink and rinse clothes thoroughly under cool water after the clothing has soaked. Step5. Wash as usual. Congratulate yourself once the Kool-Aid stain has dissapeared! If there's still a trace of a faint stain, repeat the steps above. Do not place stained clothing into your clothes dryer until a stain has been completely removed. Heat will set a stain.
