I am sorry to bring this to the table. But images and what we see and hear are no real influances on actual choices that we make. I honestly believe that evry one in this world is able to make his or her own decisions whether or not they are right or wrong THEY still made the decision..... We are all subject to the world around us..... Its just in how we are rased to transelate.

Children however make decisions based on peer pressure and what they see so if we can change the attitude of others about body style then maybe there would not be so many girls with anerxia or bulimia or overweight. They would be happy as who they are.

And maybe if we get their minds of their bodies, we can teach them to live their lives to the fullest and to respect each other with out prejudice. This is just my opinion and it may differ from yours and that ok. We are all intitled to our opinions.

Kinda depends on who is raising the kid.
My son asks me or his mother about right or wrong.
I have told him from a very young age"To hell with what everyone else thinks" and "Do what you will just dont hurt anybody or yourself"

You are very lucky to have children that believe what you tell them regardless of what their friends/society say or think.

That is a very simple statement to address a very complex issue. I agree that personal responsibility is very important and that we all "make our beds and then have to lie in them". However, life is not black and white and it's not all about how we are raised.

My son asks me, but he's still heavily influenced by society and his peers. We talk all the time about various things and he wants to know, always, why my views differ from the "norm" on so many things. He gets what I'm saying but society often gives a different view. And when he hears from 100 sources something different than what I say, it can get confusing.

I would not find it hard to believe that plastic surgeons are somehow backing it.

The truth be known, if you do not love yourself before you get on the surgery table you will still not love yourself after. So you can have everything changed and you will still be in the same boat.

I think such a game would desensitize plastic surgery to young girls, as a common life practice. I do not like it a bit and would never buy a child this game. Paper dolls and Fashion Barbies go far enough as it is. flowerforyou

Just because you tell them something does not mean they believe it.

that's very true

I don't know who's behind this online game but it shows that you need to keep an eye out for what your kids do on the net
