What would you all do if you were scheduled to work over the weekend and only got 3 hrs each day, but it takes you 20 mins to get there and back? Would you find another job or bare with it?

No I am suppose to be working 25hrs to 30 and they have me down for 3 hrs 7 days a week

can you tell your boss that 6 hours one day would work out better for you if it was possible, it makes no since to me why they have to do that chit to ppl

If I had bills to pay, I wouldn't want to work a job that would give me minimum hours. I need money!

Ya I hate it, I talked to the boss today and she said dear this is our slow month, and I explained to her I have a truck payment to do every week,a cell phone bill and stuff. Its like it wont go through her HEAD!

No I am suppose to be working 25hrs to 30 and they have me down for 3 hrs 7 days a week If these are temporary cutbacks and you enjoy the work you might consider hanging in there and possibly trying to pick up other people's shifts. If you don't particularly enjoy the job or see no end in sight to the cutback you probably need to move on. I would definitely express your concerns to your boss. They can't fix a problem they are unaware of. |

keep the job until you find something that offers more hours and is a little closer to home.
slow month or otherwise they should be able to provide you with the hours promised upon hiring. |
