It could be that some dudes are a wee bit more sensitive than others.
This is something I'm particularly guilty of- I'll assume that the little lady's got better things to do than to deal with me, so I'll "cut bait" and pout for a while. Stupid stuff, huh? |

Some have taken it SO PERSONALLY, even when I've outright SAID "I need to do ________________. Be back later". |

You can't see the other person. You must build a picture of them as you talk back and forth. Otherwise the person is seemingly unreal. So this guy drew a picture in his mind that you were angry or whatever and logged out.
Tell them you had to take care of your kids (or whatever) and keep talking. Correct their visual picture. |
