Why lie? What's in the past stays in the past..as long as you are Disease free. NO, you shouldn't lie.. I just don't think one should inquire about the exact number of partners prior to your relationship, unless there is something they need to tell you.

Do you think it is okay to lie to your significant other about the number of intimate partners you have had? No!..its not ok to lie about that..it may cut down on the insecurities but does it cut down on the amount of STD's you may need to be tested for?

No, it's not okay to lie. However, there would be a red flag warning for me if someone I was with asked. I think it's a strange question and I have never asked anyone that question. As for STD's you can have those regardless of whether you've had sex with one person or 100 people. I would not lie about it, but I would wonder why he needed to know.

No. Never lie. truth always outs. Oddly all my partners wanted me telling of my past partners... they wanted me to describe in detail our intimate encounters. I thought it was odd with one, but then two and even the third wanted to know. They even requested repeat retellings. ???? go figure
