No prob, i undertand everyone has thier own opions and such but holy.
You dont give ur kids rules and you are just screwing yourself. I dont
mind it when ppl voice thier opions but dont start yelling and thinking

kids don't listen because their ears are plugged for some reason.

thats them putting thier fingers in thier ears right when you are asking
them to do something LOL

impossible to remove that stuffing before they are grown up and mature

yeah i have two kids and you know what they both listen. its called you
are the parent and if you cant get your kids to listen then your doing
something wrong and you need to change something. oh and as 4 the caps
you know i like caps and really dont care if its considerd yelling or
not.

All kids are not the same you know.. Some kids listen better than others
doesnt mean you are a abd parent or you re doing something wrong. So
your saying if your kids listen better than someone else does that mean
ur a better parent no. Its doesnt mean jack **** actually. Are you a

kids, niether do I niether does anyone. Kids can be a handful, sometimes
they listen and sometimes they try and get away with murder. So quit

what sweet is trying to do by starting this thread: figure out a way to
get her child(ren) to listen. She specifically asks for advise, and
then she goes on to thank us for giving it.

Your the second doctor Phil LoL... hey i watch doctor phil everyday at
3:00 lol. I say this when childern are born they are sweet n innocent as
babies, then they get to toddler age cute. than they go to school.. Evil
Evil LoL. I just remember when i started going to school i came home one
day and looked at my mom and said your a *****. I never knew what it
ment i heard kids say it say school the older kids. Man o man my ass was
black and blue for weeks lol

after that whenever i wanted to know what a word ment. I would say mom
what does this word mean. and i would try and rhyme it would something
without actually saying it lol. i am almost 22 and still whenever i cuse
my mom slaps me up side the head lol

lmao dont feel bad autumn. I was 12, had had my first "dream" and
decided I was an adult. I tol dmy mom "you f'in b!t^& Do not talk to me
like that again. I do not have to listen to it"
I'll tell ya what I listened to the wooden spoon she was using sail
across my mouth! I went to school that morning with a bloody lip and
swollen jaw. Teacher asked what happened thinking I had fought witht he
area bully again. You think I learned? Nope. I told her "my mom hit
me". Her response was "good! I am sure you deserved it." I still stop
and see this teacher whenever I get the chance. I have introduced her
to both my children and am only sorry that she retiured before they got
to her class ;-)

Bill- There is a difference between disciplining and belittling. There
is NO reason what so ever to hurt a child's feelings there are STILL
human. You CAN discipline a child without making them feel like crap.
Just because they are children does NOT mean they do not deserve a
little thing call RESPECT. There is NEVER any reason to hit a child.
NEVER! It may have been OK when we were children but it is not OK now.
Hitting does not teach a child right from wrong it just hurts them. Give
me a freaking break. I would like to see somebody slap you around every
time you did something wrong.

I dont believe in hitting, I got smacked around when i was younger (Oh I
deserved it lol) but sometimes my step dad would smack me around and it
didnt make me feel very good. When my daughters gets to the age I
believe in time outs. One minute for every year they are. I watch nanny
911 and i learned alot from them lol. Like get down to thier level and
talk to them tell them what they did wrong, and yelling does nothing
they only get used to it and can start to tune ya out.

No matter what you decide as punishment always use the golden rule: Say
it once and only once, say it again and puish him. Always stick to that
rule no matter what.
