I usually don't even enter into the political discussions because people tend to equate insults, threats, hate-filled speech, and cursing with logic and intelligence. they seem to think this is how true patriotic intellectuals behave themselves, go figure.

But I have noticed a recurring theme in this particular forum when it comes to McCain and Obama: Nobody wants to vote for them. I even read someone apologizing for the poor choices we have this time around.

So my question is simply - IF YOU DON'T LIKE MCCAIN OR OBAMA, WHO WOULD YOU HAVE VOTED FOR AND WHY?

I only ask this question out of curiosity and I will not be engaging into any argument with anyone who answers.

Niehter person deserves the office....

McCain is a timebomb waiting to happen & Obama is too green around the gills for such an important position.

none of the above i would have voted for hillary..

Look i'm a democrat;however, I refuse to vote for someone who is a first term senator and doesn't know his head from his you know what. He's had what scandalous preachers and rappers making comments and songs on the other contestant? Not even the point though my problem is he has no experience our country is in a hole at the moment and yes we need change but we need someone who can make that change not someone who is going to be lost bc hes never been in the military or has no idea about foreign affairs which he doesn't... as the he thinks we can deal with the militia groups in iraq when they came, Mccain had to tell him hey bud they're already here. that's my problem with him he's never done anything. Let him grow up in the senate for a few more years get some real change in there and not just sit in the background as he did his first term in the senate.

Ive noticed that John McCain gets confused easily and he is incapable of quick reactions to out of the box questions that he hasnt been prepared for. Ive noticed that his hands shake. He also has malignant melinoma. He has fallen asleep in the Senate during votes.I believe McCain is smarter than Little Bush but he is impaired by his age. At least Obama can react swiftly, he's a smooth talker and he's highly intelligent. I think these qualities can offset any of the inexperience that Senator Obama has.The world is asking for leadership and if nothing else Senator Obama makes a great symbol, the world seems to want to like him which is a major change from their usual reaction to our presidents. It certainly couldnt hurt. I think we would be far better off with an "inexperienced"Obama presidency (that is capable of learning) than an incompetent McCain presidency (that would be unable to react to anything).
