A shattered soul and in a world of pain,
Where people don't believe,
He's tried to love so many times,
But all they did was leave,
Will the past come back again,
He asks himself each day,
All he can hear is the crying inside,
That always gets in the way,
He feels the pain deeper then most,
And can't face it alone,
He hides it deep inside of him,
And will not let it be shown,
He's trying to fight a battle,
That he knows he will not win,
The wounds are deep inside his heart,
Will he get hurt again?
So all of you who read this,
And feel the same as I,
Don't hold it deep inside of you,
Just close your eyes and cry.
