Well, yeah! I am a woman! Isn't that what we do? Well when you are told basically your whole childhood that you are worthless and the more ugly child out of the whole bunch, you kinda start to trust that they are telling you the cold hard truth. I was always told by my family I was ugly. Although I really wasn't. But that kind of thing can mess you up your whole life. Even now my family thinks of me as the Ugly one. My sisters are BEAUTIFUL!! So I strive to look as best as I can. |

As closing time nears and you're a little schnockered. You ponder your options. At this point, looks don't matter a lick.

As closing time nears and you're a little schnockered. You ponder your options. At this point, looks don't matter a lick. Is this the old "she's getting better every beer" philosophy of attraction? You are right, though, looks don't seem as important to me now that I am older. (I was thinking it was because I now realize that 'looks' don't last anyway. To the men who feel this same way, what is it that does matter to you now? |

This used to be a very big problem for me...probably the biggest obstacle for me when it comes to dating...
Nowadays I worry about that less. I've seen firsthand that when I walk more confidently (head up, no slouch), women immediately pick up on that and respond. Boy, it took enough years for me to learn that though. |
