I miss you so much.
No longer, can I feel your touch.
It’s been three years now.
I still wonder how.

As I remember the past.
It happened so fast.
I remember answering the phone.
The words I heard chilled me to the bone.

All I heard was Daddy’s gone.
I felt so withdrawn.
I got into my car to drive.
I did not want to believe you were not alive.

When I arrived I sat in dismay.
All I could do was sit and pray.
There were tears in everyone’s eyes.
We did not even get to say our goodbyes.

It’s still hard to believe today.
That you went away.
I know you’re with God above.
You’re with your first true love.

That day we laid you to rest.
My heart fell out of my chest.
When the services begun.
I knew mom and you were together as one.

As I think of you this month.
March the seventeenth.
It is you very special day.

great this I know... Its been 29 years for me
I can still hear his voice and see his smile

that is sweet that make me think of my mom

(((txs))) I know how you feel, my dad died 3 years ago too but i was
lucky to be able to care for him his last year and we got very close. I
thank god every day for allowing me to have the time with him. I still
miss him so much, guess i always will.
As LAmom says he is looking down at you with big smiles. he may not be
here in person but his spirit will always be with you.

Makes me think of my grandpa, he was the most incredible man in my
world, died in 1984, one week short of his 97th birthday, and miss him
dearly to this day.

ones we've lost and to remember to love the ones that are still live.

Thank you all very much for your kind words. It has always been easy to
remember Daddy's B-Day cause if falls on St.Patrick's day. Even tho I
miss him it does make me happy to know he finally got to be with my mom
that passed away when I was just a baby. I know they are together and
smiling.
