make em take a lie dector test....nah for me it is hurt and trust issues and it is kind of hard to trust anyone on the internet but time will tell all you have to do is be upfront tell them you expect honesty and that you will give it in return and take a chance... trust is an earned thing. no way to know unless you tell them something about you that you would not tell any else and see how they react or ask them the same question ten times.... and the best things start as friends where someone likes you for you.

you don't know unless he tells you he is interested and even then you don't know for sure he is being upfront. He may be interested in......in you and half the net as well. The truth is you just never know and have to take a chance.....or not.

You only know they are interested in you if they email you and try to talk to you. And, you can only know if they are the "right one" after getting to know them for a very long time.

I think you are absolutely right about that, I was married 15 years with four kids, been divorced for eight and find myself fat(kinda) and fortie who is just now getting back out into the adult world. to be honest I feel like I am turning into my Grandmother (God rest her soul, bitter, and old! But I am taking my friends advice and putting myself out there again for a friendship and maybe eventually a deep meaningful relationship. But man, I swear, I almost feel I don't have much left to offer. To be quite frank and honest when you trust people who screw you over after you have given them your all. You kinda loose faith a little. But I do have faith in God, if it is his will, then I will find a soul mate some day.
