Who would like to be a "stay at home" mom?
And what should be the responsibilities in that case??? |

I was a stay at home Mom until my 5th child went into first grade...responsibilities? Are you kidding? Too numerous to mention. Not only taking care of the child, but the house, the laundry, cleaning, nurturing, cooking, I gave haircuts and rides to the doctor, trips to the park, walks, teaching...the list is enormous

Yeah....I can relate....there's just SOOOOO much food wasted that way around my place!!!! The only thing I can do I guess is start doing it all the time myself. I'm so busy outside and rebuilding the house though I won't be able to get as much done!!!! Oh well!!!! |

Who would like to be a "stay at home" mom? And what should be the responsibilities in that case??? I've BEEN a stay-at-home mom for 5 children as well. And homeschooled my children while I was at it. And it's great to be with your kids 24-7. Investing in their lives instead of others doing it for you. But the responsibilities don't change now that I work full time. I just miss being with them as much ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Oh well!!!! i am a chef and i can tell you that it is completly safe to keep stuff if it has been sitting out for only 2-4 hours. but use your judgement...if you dont feel comfortable keeping something then throw it out. best of luck to you |

Honestly, it sounds like you need to communicate with whoever is leaving stuff out? The rule in my house is this...IF you are the last one to use something, don't be lazy PUT IT UP!!! If you dirty it, clean it!!
I am a mother, not a maid! I love my children very much but I refuse to be a maid at any time. I will do things for them, but I am trying to teach them responcibilty. Trust me, one day they will thank me!! Good luck ![]() |

Who would like to be a "stay at home" mom? And what should be the responsibilities in that case??? Meals were healthier, since there was time to actually cook them instead of heating up cans and boxes of "looks like cheese and vegetable" dinners. ![]() The kids got more individual attention from me, homework was monitored better, clothes spent less time in the laundry room and more time on hangers, the garden thrived and the floors were always clean. There are certainly perks to having the time to run a more organized and efficient home. Also, it was nice to know they were getting some fresh air in their lungs and some exercise each day...grab your bikes or roller blades kids...let's go! ![]() |
