It's about the faith it takes to line up with God's divinity.

But that's the whole point QS.

Faith in what?

You place your faith in the Bible.

A Muslim places their faith in the Quran.

A Jew places their faith in the Torah.

A Hindu place their faith in something altogether different.

As does a Buddhist, etc, and on, and on, and on.

So which one of these people have faith in GOD QS?

All of them?

Or only you? huh

That's the question QS.

If my faith in Pantheism every bit as much a faith in God as your faith in the Bible?

If not, then which one of us has God betrayed?

abra.,

valid point.

God betrays no one.

we all receive that which we seek.

we make choices and God grants them fruition.

If not, God would be an anarchist.

God gives the desires of the heart to all.

That is not hard to comprehend.

For God to grant affirmation of the righteousness of God found and delighted in by Jesus Christ and some share in that delight of such a righteous life, then why should any be so aghast that such as have found that alive and well are so delighted by God Himself in answer to jesus' words? The Holy Spirit is given. Simple.

Just one of many, that ought nnot be the course of your delight according to those that disdain your delight.

Yet you are aghast more than not that Christians affirm that which eludes you.

And so, you pontificate against that in your aghast.\

Is it because your belief is aghast to Christians that can only see that you are aghast at them?

That may very well be the case.

You perpetrate the delight you take every day.

Your delight is your aghast of Christians.

Make it about a book....yeah right LOL

you know what's in it. It says the Holy Spirit comes to seal them that are called after the righteousness of God.

So you build another god to suit you.

OK.

God betrays no one.

Such as you seek, you shall find, abra.

I find it redundant to even entertain the notion that God has betrayed any.

It assume betrayal exists somewhere in your heart fro that to be prerequisite to your point in affirmation of your intolerance of that which eludes you, or such attention would be not present in your communications.

I cannot ever rea=call a Christian sying they ever harbor concerns over betrayal by God.

But then, I am not privy to any such concern from others. Only you.

huh brokenheart

No... all the others don't teach grace...but works. That's not faith but the law only.

It's just like being a "good" person is not enough.

So where did those ideas come from if not the Bible?

But I'm not aghast at what you are suggesting at all.

If you're happy with your "Walk with God" I'm happy for you Wouldee, truly I am. I do not blame you personally for the ills of the organized religion as a whole.

I will of course share with you my personal belief that I feel the idea that Jesus died to pay for your sins is nothing more than superstition. I don't believe anyone needs to die to pay for your sins Wouldee. Of course, I have no clue what kind of a life you have lived or what you may have done. So perhaps I have no right to speak on what needs to be done to pay for your "sins".

However, I would argue that I believe that Jesus said that he did not come for the righteous. He came for the sinners.

I take that to heart and understand that he didn't come for my sake. If he came to pay for the sins of sinners then perhaps they know who they are. Maybe there is something going on there that is beyond my experience and doesn't apply me and that's why it makes no sense to me.

In the meantime, I see entire nations of people at each other's throats blowing each other up, and killing each other and threatening to have the mother of all wars on the planet that I live on.

I personally believe the how thing is nothing more than ignorance and superstition. If it comes to pass it will only be becasue of the superstitous beliefs of people, who in my personal opinion simply weren't well-educated. They should eb able to see that a God who demands blood sacrifices and allows men to be at each others throats because of poorly written and confused dogma no God at all but a sadistic demon who is playing with the souls of fools.

No, I'm not acusing God of being a Demon. I'm saying that since this is what the picture is ulimately projecting then it must be a false picture because no God could be that demonic.

You seem to be totally worried about Wouldee's saved soul.

Well, hey. Good luck with that. drinker

I hope you make it to Seventh Heaven Wouldee I truly do. No matter what you might have done in your life if you are truly remorseful for it, then I personally feel that you deserve Seventh Heaven and if I am granted a pass I'll mail it to you because I'm not interested in going there myself. bigsmile

Jesus said the meek shall inherit the earth. I'll be happy just sticking around here and fixing this old place up.

I just hope it isn't full of nuclear radiation from some stupid religious war.

Of course...if you wanted to show a child how to make a kite...wouldn't you equip him with materials wisdom & so on so he will LEARN how to do it?

We are not enough in ourselves because God's ways are much higher than our ways. Anyone who lives by faith knows that. It's not a put down. God's divinity is not something to smirk at.

If it's any consolation abra...I have experienced God's divinity & I still struggle with things. No one said faith would be easy but knowing God is definately worth it. Chin up!

God bless...
