OK. My son loves to body board, but lacks the coordination to surf. He is so uncoordinated that he actually broke his body board in half slamming into a wave because he tripped himself going into it. Well it's not that hard to break those things. I lack the ability to stand up while surfing .. furthest I got was to my knees and I moved one foot to a standing position. sounds like what you said last night.
