As long as it does not happen on my carpet

I had a puppy get parvo once... that wasn't pretty not for her or my pocket book...

Thats what Im afraid of...my sisters dog got it and it died an aweful death...They tried to save it instead of putting it down. They should have just done it, so it did not suffer.

My puppy was saved I was thankful but I got her to the vet as soon as things looked way wrong (my first indication). I almost lost her but a week in the hospital, a lot of money and a lot of prayers and she was all better again..

im affraid i dont know what parvo is...
does it hold the same symptoms as what your pup has.

I ran over my lab as a pup. Broke his leg. Drove him 1 1/2 hours to an Orthapedic Surgeon and now he is a Titled hunting retreiver. But it cost me out the wazooo.

you may have noticed a tattoo on my left shoulder in my pics..that tattoo is of my german sheppard-irish wolf hound mix.
copine..(french for friend)
when she died i placed her on my shoulder so that she's live on forever.
i hope that your little friend will be all right hunt.

Here is a tear jerker.

I had a beagle named (kiona, a native american name) growing up. She was my best friend and was a damn good hunting dog. She could out run the pack on a cold rabbit trail. She was so good I did not have to take a gun she would bring more to me than I could shoot.

She died a few years ago. I was gonna bury her in the woods. I wrapped her in a towel and put her in a Box. While my other dog looked on. I went in the garage to get a shovel. to this point i had not shed a tear. It was just what I had to do.
When i came out of the garage I saw my other dog had opend the box lid opened the towel and pulled her out and set her on the ground and was standing over her. nose to nose.
Thats when I got emotional cause of the site.

damn that just made me teary... dogs love each other and are so loyal to us and each other.....

I'm worried about my dog.. My son (the oldest) is moving out in a few weeks, he has a yorkie that my boxer just loves.. He lets her beat his butt daily a few times.. I'm so worried that he'll be so lonely when they move out...

They always know. my lab love bug, when she leaves he gets sad and looks for her.

Where is he going, or is it one of the older boys

i swear,some breeds of dogs are so intuitive that they are almost human.
perhaps in its own way,your surviving friend wanted a last chance to say goodbye as well..
its uncanny sometimes.

you know,i have never felt so close it seems to anyone in my life as i had had been with copine.
i felt,many years ago that the house that my father built for her was not sufficently large enough for her.
i mean she had the look of a german sheppard..but the stature of an irish wolfhound.
and as dog lovers know,they are the largest breeds of dogs in the world.
so there i was at the age of ten,spending my hours after school building her the largest goghouse anyone has ever seen.
many nights i spent inside there with her,right by her side..
and being from pincourt where there was nothing but forrest everywhere,she would come along with me on those weekends where i camped..without fear..it was impossible to fear anything with such a monster next to you.

miss p...perhaps you can convince your son to leave the dog behind when he leaves.
besides,if by some chance he's moving into an apatement building..theres a great chance that he wont be allowed to have pets there with him anyways.

Yes I hate yippers, thats exactly what I call them. I also dont like dogs that shake all the time cause they are nervous like most little breeds (taco bell dogs, terrriers)

me either, that's why I like bigger dogs... I would love a great dane.. LOL..

Kol I can't... 1) she's a yipper and so mean to him and he let's her b/c he adores her and 2) his girlfriend would never here of it...

the little ones are cute..but they can be even more tempermental then the larger breeds..
with a larger dog,you know where you stand..they have one master and thats all.
