I've never really associated any particular place with meeting people, but that's probably because 91% of everyone I've dated has been people I met through friends. What's the best place to meet people from online dating sites? Nowhere! Meeting people from dating sites is like playing Russian roulette with eleven guns at the same time.

Well, I intend to cast no aspersions on anybody, whatever those are, but let's just say my experiences with people from dating sites have been less than pleasant. I mean, sure, my perfect match could be on this site right now, but she's probably too busy answering Peccy's questions to notice me....

As you might expect the wits have given you their worst. I'll give you one good idea. STARBUCKS!! Meeting at Starbucks is short-term and it's a low risk place for meeting people you met online. If it's going well you can always go someplace else. If it isn't going well, all you're out is the price of the coffee and a half hour of your time.

I usually ask if they'd like to meet at the Zoo. Safe, public and something to talk about. Best date I ever had was at a zoo! We walked around holding hands & talking for hours!

I have had, by far, the most success picking up women at the grocery store. Its easy to approach women there and I have mastered the art of making cute small talk with the items in their cart. Best place to meet someone for the first time would be wherever you have a common interest. For example : Sushi bar, UFC Fight, Common type of music Concert, Theater, etc. I always make an effort not to do the standard dinner, or a movie.

Starbucks is always a safe choice. It can be quick or it can lead to dinner or lunch nearby.
