The fact that the highest earning Actress on the Small Screen, Mariska
Hargitay, makes half what the top earning actor makes (Charlie Sheen),
is proof that we still have not seen the reality of equal pay for equal
work.

Granted, Sheen moved from the Big Screen to the Small Screen. So he
could demand a higher price. So if we move on to the second top earning
actor, William Petersen of CSI, who makes half again as much as
Hargitay.

We still live in a world were woman have less value than men.
Pathetic, isn't it?


Oh, yeah, if you are thinking of bring up Oprah and others, I left out talk shows and reality shows. Those are a different breed altogether. Some of those people have acted, but are not really actors. More like experts in their own fields. And as far as Oprah goes, I didn't know if the numbers were including her other ventures or not.

I am a guy, but I will admit that I would like to see an equal paying scale in all professions!

I hear McCain and some other dudes are opposing HR 2831, the Equal Pay bill, in this years election...

Fact is....Life's hard, wear a helmut. If your Mommy told you something would be fair....well, she lied. Welcome to America, we screw everybody here regardless of gender, race, intellectual ability, or day of the week....choosing in the two major political parties is like choosing between a giant douche or a turd sandwich(southpark yes)....it takes a truely outspoken and unique individual to gather the discontent to make a change....when will we find that person?
