Topic: Iraq - Why We Are Winning

Well Iraq was doing pretty good before we pulled the plug on them in '89...pretty much all we are doing is rebuilding what we destroyed in '89. Aside from that there are a few positive things happening in Iraq, but not near enought to justify the invasion.

What's wrong? Can't rebute that?

Not going to quote the whole thing but it is garbage, garbage, you know.

There is no "win" to this "military action" in Iraq. We can patrol the streets and cause terror in the people but the " insurgence" is and will always be there. It will be there if we stay and it will be there if we leave. The people there are not ready for forced democracy. They need to lead THEIR OWN COUNTRY HOW THEY WANT TO, we have no right to DICTATE to them how to run their country.

Americans, or at least most Americans have too many brains to believe the bull**** about this war. The lies and manipulations are obvious and the intelligent Americans are tired, TIRED, T-I-R-E-D of the bull**** about the illegal justifications to go to war and the continued bull about how a "win" is ever possible.

If your post is directed at me then I would say it can be argued from as many points as the years you have been alive and I would rather argue the points with someone who was cognizant of something other than "wow dude! I got a boner!" at that time. I prefer to argue history with those that lived it rather than teaching those that didn't. (Typed in jest of course) flowerforyou

So in '89 we didn't pull the plug on Iraq? You know they had an outstanding college before then, you know the one we just rebuilt. So I suppose this war is just a shade of white paint on a dirty fence? Please correct me, I'm all for learning if in fact you have anything other then the age gap of which you claim is the reason you can't argue it.

Personally this is the argument I have always recieved when I back my claims with facts "you're too young" it is a crock of sh*t if I say so myself...and quite frankly pisses me off.

are we really winning?
the propaganda machinery at its best.
First of all, the whole thing in Iraq is based upon a lie that this government sold to the people, and the sheeps bought it.
Second of all, there never was a real target, but bunch of lies invented by the intelligence services.

We invaded a third world country on a lie and have been bogged down for 5 years, wasting thousands of Iraqui and American lives and added billions to our $9,500,000,000,000.00 debt.

That's "winning?"

lets see why are we winning the war in Iraq, well according to bush administration we are winning the war, but of course this is the same people who said Iraq was involved in 9/11. and lets dont foreget. wmd. so for me anything the government says, is a ball face lie.
