Maybe I'm just being naive... If you send someone a message, just a normal hi how are you, cool profile, etc. Nothing creepy and you don't ever hear back, can you send a follow up and ask what the problem is. Or is that too desperate?
I'm sure this has been discussed before on here so some of you pros give this newcomer some advice. |

sounds desperate to me. Just take it as a sign that they aren't interested and move on.

"Hi" "Wanna chat?" "Nice pics" "How are you?" Those are not worthy of a reply. They are generic and thoughless. JMO |

If you dont get a response, chalk it up as a loss (their loss  ) Join the forums, make friends, have fun, share a laugh, advice or a shoulder

But I prefer a personal touch or at least a hint they read my profile. If there is no effort involved why should I reply? When I do 99% of the time I keep getting one sentence mails, or the follow up is "hit me up on messenger"... |
