I once had a Jack_ _ _ tell me he couldn't call me for three days after he told me "Fvck You" as he was stuck in the boondocks with no cell service and in a paper company with reams all over the floor, 16 hour days, blah blah... He had the nerve to get belligerent when I questioned him and flat out thought he was lying.

Funny. His ex said he told her the same exact story. I guess my lie-o-meter wasn't broken!

Over 1 year ago, I met a man who stated, with a straight face, that I was, ..."too bouncy and violent for him." Direct quote and I still don't know what he meant.frustrated

I had a buddy whose boss was more likely to let you off if your excuse was outrageous, than if it was "real." We used this to our advantage one day when I had a day off and he didn't want to go in. We had waited for his office to call, and the conversation (with me) went something like this:

Me: Hello?

Boss: This is _____ from _____ I'm looking for Will ____ is he there?

Me: Will? No, I haven't seen him since about 7 pm yesterday. He pulled up in front of the house, but when he stepped out of his car, two well dressed Italian gentleman escorted him to a black Lincoln Towncar that had pulled up behind him. I haven't seen him since and quite frankly we are starting to get a little worried around here. Could you have him call us when he gets into work?

Boss: Uh... yeah, uhh, sure. Well, uhhh, thank you.

To finish the story off, we took the suit will had been wearing on the day he was last at work, tied it up with rubber bands (like you would to tye-dye), and he wore it all dishevelled like that to work the next day.
