For me, I've grown more patient through the years. I'm still not the best with certain things but I'm a hell of alot better than I used to be.

Ditto, all good things take time and patience is virtue in order to wait on the good things. Not easy to do but then nothing in life was meant to be easy. 'For if it was we would not want it!!

I've been trying to work on it, but my fuse is kinda short today! To be honest at 21 I had no fuse I wanted it right then and there. So see your no different then anyone else. We learn with age.

I agree in here... great comments. Immediate gratification is only gratifying immediately, and then fades, as you crave new immediate and instant gratitification. Once you attain delayed gratification, college degree, paying cash for something you saved up for, going the long and leisurely way and seeing the beauty of the scenic view....etc... In sum, do it slow and right and your appreciation will last tenfold.

Your more then welcome. We have all been there done that but at times we seem to forget what it was like for us then. My two kids at 23 & 25 remind me daily to not forget and in the long run I try to help them through the bumps of life that seems to knock us down.
