***Calliope comes out of the kitchen holding Pan***

"What are we going to do, Pan? Hmmmmmmmmm....I have to think of something that would interest the travelers back"

***She pulls up a chair and begins to write some ideas**** "I knew I should have gone to school with the rest of the hobbits, but oh no, I have to go and buy the Inn and try to be silly hobbit"

These nations are available if you want to join the new Dark Scrolls RPG Card Game!

((NEW!)) You could represent the "Gnome Nation". Ever since Dalbiddle Dalfoodle invented gun powder his revolutionary Boinkar Bazooka has threatened many who live in the Lands of Bavidirian. With the weapons loud bang it can put a huge hole in any beast that dares to challenge the gnome leader or his men. Standing at only 2 feet, many don't take the Dalfoodle seriously until they have witnessed the many odd inventions that make his race so superior and dangerous. Along with the leader are others brave gnome warriors who use many of Dalbiddles great gadgets such as the engine birdie, lantern blowy, and the smooth floater. Their symbol is a mushroom. Summer is their season. (Still available)

You could represent the Dwarven Nation - The hardy and strong dwarves were once proud of their halls inside the mountains until they lost a terrible war from Mora'shi'tar's Demon Hordes. Forced to live on the surface they build their towns on top of the grandest mountains the Lands of Bavidirian has to offer. Jarrid Stonecrusher leader and dragon slayer of the mountain dwarves carries one of the most powerful and magical axes ever crafted. Legend says he has slain an ancient red dragon with a single blow. With the dragon's riches he built one of the best defended towns ever to exist in the lands. Their symbol is a glowing axe. Fall is their season. (Still available)

*Creslin the hunter enters the inn. there is no one else around. He thinks to himself wondering how some place that is so quite could have such a reputation for adventure. Maybe tomorrow there will be others who will share there stories...*

Creslin exits the inn to continue his hunt.

The following two nations are still available. Grab one before it is too late!

You could represent the "The Dark Elf Nation" - Dark Elves have been fighting a war in the deepest depths of the mountains for thousands of cyclones against the ravishing Demon Hordes. The war has been at a stalemate until one day a ferocious demon lord emerged to the scene. As the dark elves were forced from their homes the last black wizard named Torak the Black defended his people in every effort. This over 1000 cyclone old wizard has many wins under his belt and has defeated some of the vilest demons that have ever existed. As he tries violently to teach the dark arts of magic, his people continue to dwindle. The last war has proven vital as eventually Torak and his men were forced to live on the surface amongst surface dwellers. Disgusted at the thought he summoned griffons to fly him to the highest mountain peek the land has to offer to construct with powerful magic a tower. There he resides patiently thinking of an ultimate plan to reclaim his domain. The symbol is a dagger with red snake. They are of the Era of Winter.(Still available)

Creslin enter the inn. Again there is no one to be seen. He looks back in the kitchen to see if maybe someone is there but the place is empty. He leaves a note on the bar with the hopes that someone will read it.

I am Creslin. I hunt for a living and can supply some of the finest game in the area. I would like to talk to the owner. Maybe we can work something out to bring this tavern some business.

*Creslin gets to the top of the stairs and a horned cat runs past him. It's the first sign of life he has seen at the inn. He starts to open other doorways to see if maybe the cat has an owner.*

*There is nothing in any of the rooms upstairs. Creslin goes back downstairs to check the kitchen thinking maybe the horned cat can give him some clues as to why no one has entered the inn.*

A faint cry is heard in the basement. Upon listening closer you can make out a shrill for help.

A short elf (well, short for an elf) with long red hair walks in. A long bow and quiver are strapped to her back, her leather armor is pocked with holes. Her face, legs and arms are riddled with scars. Her wild eyes scan the empty room.

"Hello?! Is anyone here?" she says twice, once in elven and once again common.

a faint cry in the basement is heard

*Creslin stops at the top of the cellar stairs when he hears the faint cry from the basement. He knows it is definitely not the horned cat. With his hunting knife drawn he slowly decends the cellar stairs.*

*As he gets to the bottom of the stairs the horned cat runs past him and back up the stairs. Creslin looks towards the dark corner where the cat came from he sees the outline of a human lying in the corner. Creslin cautiously approaches.*

*The humans eyes are wide with fear. Creslin can clearly see the human is afraid of him. It is then that Creslin notices the man is bound and gagged.*

*Creslin Walks over to the human kneels down and unties the gag that is preventing the man from speaking.*

Creslin asks "who are you? What happened here? and Why are you tied up in the cellar of this inn?"

The human responds. "I am Boromir I work for Calliope the owner of this inn. We were robbed two days ago and the thieves took what little gold we had and they took what food and liqour they could carry. They tied me up here in the cellar leaving me to die. I am so grateful you came along."

*creslin asks as he unties boromir* "where is the owner why has she not been here?"

Boromir replies. "She has been traveling to the surrounding towns to find better deals on food and drink for the tavern. She just bought this inn a little over a month ago and she had to talk to other merchants to find the best prices. She left me in charge of the place and look at what has happened how am I going to explain this."

"Easy Boromir my name is Creslin I am the towns hunter and a few other things which I won't get into at this time. Lets go back upstair and clean this place up." Creslin stands Boromir up he is weak and needs help getting up the stairs.

*When they reach the top of the stairs Boromirs jaw almost drops to the ground when he sees how horribly the thieves have destroyed the kitchen. he starts to clean and put all the pots and pans away mumbling to himself all the while.*

*Creslin goes into the bar and puts all the barstools back at the bar and all the chairs and table to their rightful places.*

Creslin a little to loudly says "and imagine I was about to set this place ablaze."

Boromir from the kitchen says "What is something on fire out there?"

Creslin says "Oh never mind my boy everything is ok. Just stay in the kitchen and do your cleaning. I'll take care of everything out here."

*In just a couple hours time the two have the inn restored to its proper self. Boromir offers Creslin a room for his services which he excepts. Boromir is exhausted and retires to his room. Creslin helps himself to a brew sits quitly at the bar finishes his brew and goes to his room.*

A good sleep Boromir had as he wakes up lazily from the soft cushioned bed he slept on. Afterall he was sleeping in the damp basement for two days. His stomach growls wildly as he slowly walks down the stairs. He is grateful that Creslin saved his life. He hopes those thieves will be caught one day and knows the gold that was stolen will come out of his pocket as soon as Calliope returns to hear of the event. He sees a huge boar laying on the floor slaughtered. Perhaps Creslin brought it this morning to make a good meal with. He is sure that the dark elf hunter is hungry for such.

He hangs the sign out reading the meal of the day, Fresh boar' stew with dark bread. He then goes to the kitchen dragging the boar inside. He will have to skin it first then get the meat and spices ready to create one of his favorite dishes.

*A high-elf walks in, wearing Brown robes which oddly-enough are covered in long overcoat. The man, donning a pointy large brimmed hat and carrying a tall wooden walking stick, pushes up his glasses before venturing further into the Tavern. He seems to be muttering to himself as he finds a place to sit. What little amount of words can be made out sound almost like he is working out a formula of some kind.*

Pan the one horned cat meows as Boromir looks at the hungry cat. He feeds him some raw boars meat he has been cutting up for the longest time. He then walks out to get himself some drink when he sees a man in long robes with a overcoat. From the looks of it he looks like a wizard. Dangerous folk indeed and hopefully not another robbery. Boromir is tired as it is. He then walks to the wizard while wiping his bloody hands.

"Salutations traveler. I see that you may come from afar and are in need of a hearty meal or perhaps good drink. What shall it be?" Boromir asks.
