Hey tanyann, just wondering why you're so gun ho on gay &*&%% and mutant rights...personally, I agree there is growing acceptance with how they practice their lifestyles..however, it still isn't appropriate to have a little boy, and he has two gay dads...that's just not the right message, and more importantly, it's essential and important to have a mom in kid's lives...women have always been more loving, and nurturing..not saying men would give any less then that, but the heart of the matter is women do a better job at it, and is also necessary for that "bond", they share with their kids

So, it isn't appropriate for a widowed single father to raise a child? It isn't appropriate for a man to raise his daughter because his ex-wife is a drug addict? You will find many many fathers on this site and all over that are raising children by themselves.

Research shows that man and women have bonds with children.

If a male is the only one in the household and a baby cries, he will be awaken from sleep and have the same brain response that a female will have.

You are incorrect, sir, to state that men aren't the proper or best qualified caregivers for children. Males can just as loving and caring for children.

And regardless of who a child is raised by as long as its a consistent, loving home, it doesn't matter the gender of the parents.

And to comment on my action, regardless of my personal and professional and religious beliefs....

people are people. And should be treated with diginity and respect. Who am I to judge someone else private life? Use of particular terms, such as the ones that you have used are offensive, not only to the people you are refering to but to others.

IGNORANCE Is the LACK of Education, Wether it be in schools or home life!

The root word of IGNORANCE is IGNORE... That's not lack of education, that's the ignoring of the facts...Ignorance although has one meaning, it has many connotations depending on your view of the subject matter.

Anyone who uses derogatoy words to descibe something shows their ignorance, no matter what their education level is.

My view is people only hate that which they either don't understand or are in fear of, and that is their issue, not society's issue. Turn on a computer or read a book if you don't understand something.

grumble

This just proves my point! If the knowledge is out there and if you are not educated or want to educate yourself on a subject, then ignorance abounds.....Education starts with the wanting to know. As for the educational services out there, they are dwindling due to lack of funds. Predujudice is every where, but it is only YOU who can stop the stupidity. I wasn't trying to put in this post that I was against what is being introduced here....just that people have a choice to get the knowledge and sometimes that is hard to do if the person doesn't have the $$$$$ to get it. Hence, the educational part of it.
To each it's own!
