Smile on my face

Ready to start my day
Thinkin on the things I gotta do
The long drive that lies ahead of me
Not sure what to expect when I get there
Just hoping for the best
Reminding myself to stop and grab the paper for Dad
And to take all the pictures and cards the kids have made
Knowin that when I get home
I won't be alone
I'll have you and my friends
So when I go today
I'll carry you all with me
