Father Luis told us a story in today's homily (today's gospel was Mt. 14, 13 - 21) about a little girl (as usual I forgot the name) in a baptist church somewhere up north (I also forgot the city). It was a small church, and they were so crowded in sunday school that they could not take all the children for the lectures. She always got turned down, and she always got so sad because she couln't learn more about the Lord.
The preacher (or pastor) saw her one day crying, and he told her that whenever the church had more resources they will build a bigger place, so they can receive all the children for sunday school.
A couple of months after their conversation this girl got ill and died.
When she died, she left a little paper bag with a note for the preacher. The note said: this is my contribution of 57 cents to build a bigger church so all the children can learn about the Lord.
When the priest told this in the funeral of the little girl a lot of people were touched, and they started making donations, and they could build a bigger school.
This small donation of this little girl grew so big that now we have TEMPLE UNIVERSITY. It all started with 57 cents.

The 57 cents were "the five pieces of bread and two fish" that this little girl offered to the Lord Jesus Christ, and then my Lord multiply it thousands of times to have TEMPLE UNIVERSITY.

Father Luis also said that the multiplication of the bread also could have been an internal miracle, instead of an external miracle.
Meaning that probably all these people were so moved by my Lord's words that they started putting together all what they had in order to share with others. In this way 5000 men plus the women and children were fed. Furthermore, they had 12 baskets of bread left over.

This moves me to wonder among all my misery what do I have to offer my Lord Jesus Christ, so He can make the miracle of multiplication in me. Thus, I can share all that grace and blessings with others.

What do you have to offer? You identify that in your post and sharing it with others!
