someone who sends you a form e-mail without even reading your profile is not deserving of your time. You owe him nothing, not even the courtesy of a reply.
He is not "putting himself out there", he is trolling and hoping to catch something - anything- in his net. No thanks. |

I respond to e-mails from everyone. Of course being a guy I don't get spammed.

I usually respond. Even if it's to ask how many people he sent the same email if it's one of those types of emails.

I have gotten spamed here a couple of times.
Generally, if I haven't seen the person in the forums, I check out their profile. And then reply in an appropriate manner. Even to say not interested. |

I answer all my mail except the spam and the ones containing sexual references out of the blue. Even if it's to say ty for your interest but I'm not interested at this time, have a blessed day...For me it is simple courtesy. But I am always upfront if I don't think the person and I would be a suitable match. It ticks people off lol but then I even tick my friends off with my don't ask me if you don't want to know attitude
