I know that i was born to get married and raise a family and care for
them and be cared for by them...but I'm wise enough to know that I am
too young right now, and that I have plenty of time for that later...but
if the right person came along, and I felt in my heart that it was the
right time and place, then yes, I'd be completely ready for marriage...

Don't know if I am afraid of it, but the dude would have to walk on
water, well maybe not, but my first was a huge, huge failure, so not
sure I would ever go down that road again. Won't know until I get
there, if ever. Guess I don't have an answer for this one.

in fact when my eldest daughter decided to go public and invite all her
friends and family to the party... i told her i would not come if she
made any promises ot took any vows....i would not be a party to the set
up.

so they called the day a hand fasting ...and redesigned an ancient
celtic ceremony to celebrate their love for one another after a 10year
relationship.

every 2 years they have decided to re-invite eachother to participate
in another aspect of discovery and growth.... and offer the possibility
for refreshing the page , refilling the tank for their journey
together....


i am a very proud mother... have never married any of the 3 fathers of
my 3 children and have been dear friends with each of them and still am.

have been midwife for their wives and godmother to their children... we
decided to step outside the box and guess what!!!

I like the celtic handfasting concept, but some people will make more
serious efforts to make it work if it's legal and complicated to get out
of; especially if there's $$ involved.

It is allways complicated legal or not when it goes bad.

That is why very careful consideration must be taken before making that
kind of move.
