leave bill outta this !! i worked very hard to get where i am
volunteered alot and even was homeless for one summer[still did
volunteer stuff and worked too!!]actually made things better in my life
due to all the horrible things ,,i just pushed through and i gotta tell
ya i cried at night when i was alone but i smiled in public and kept
going

that summer i slept on the beach ,,i'm just saying i empathize ,,and you
can persevere just don't give up!!!

sounds like my life story papa I dont normally let it get me
down, trust me. I ma just frustrated today

and the thing that frustrates me the worst is I dont consider the beach
as an option, lol cause I have the kids

too true tx, and thank you all for the encouragment. I just get so
tired with the fact that society allows this tyoe if sutuation to even
exist. As it is, I am working towards my security degree, with a minor
in political science. I want to be able to do more than jsut
someday, know what I mean?

oh trust me papa it DOES make it better. I would not trade them for

Well life gets us down as Papa says when children are involved it gives
us another reason to fight that much harder. I used the system for
approx 6 months at the very beginning when I got my divorce raising two
kids 9 & 7 at the time all alone I had my ex mother-in law that
babysitted for me and helped with clothes for the kids other than that
my child support consisted of $150.00 a month for two kids did I care
yeah to an extent but being left alone from my ex was worth the struggle
and with the rewards in the end was worth more than anything money could
ever buy. I have the love and respect of both my kids that is all that
matters to me. I might not have a lot in life as far as material things
but to me that is not what really matters as long as I have a roof over
my head and food in the cupboards I'll alway7s make it.

The ONLY thing that worries me past uneasiness is when I get a seven day
notice to quit (mivhigan law......). ALl it means is that I have th
eoption to leave in seven days without anytihng being done against me.
Basicallyt he landlord offering to let go of the lease. But after htat
comes court dates, and that is what btohers me the most. I hatebeing in
court!!!

I do understand but if things are that tight I will tell you one thing I
told someone else and it worked go to your church or any church you
don't even have to be a member of one they will help with utililties and
rent payments to get ones back on there feet if they are really trying.
Told someone else this they did not go to church but tried it and they
paid her elelctric that was fixing to be cut off her house payment for a
month to help get her back on her feet and put food in the house and she
was single around my age and I helped find her a medical clinic to get
her depression meds she lived in a completly differnt state was on verge
of suicide at the time. Now she still struggles but is doing much
better. Ya gotto fight at times for what you want even if it means
lowering our standards for a bit for it takes a bigger person to admit
they need help. Good luck to you hope you find the help that you need.

I am in the process of contacting all the local assistance centers, then
I will be talking to my church and others, etc.
I am only actually behind by 130 dollars, plus this month for a total of
430. I have 200 of it (short check this week, lol). So I dont see too
much of a problem. It is hjust like I said. I hate to knwo that there
is this part of the communtiy as well. And tta it can be so hard, yet
they get overlooked.

nothing like being honest to the ones ya rent from as long as it is not
an on going thing they will understand.

usually thats the case tx, I agree; but I have caught my landlird in
trying to manipulate the payments. He started out as a temporary
manager of the complaex cause his mother inlaw had to have surgey
(mother in law was manager); now he has pushed her out of the office,a
nd is doing evertything he can for his "friends"
Looks liek the owners have caught on to htis, but it still makes it that
mroe hard, cause they dont know hwo he has been "helpin" and who he
hasnt. Know what I mean?

bw he is an accountant by trade...
