Oh,  guess i am old fashioned but, i was raised to step up to the plate always. Yes, I will go pick her up. They just do not want her around.(She is a wonderful niece, well behaved, just a joy.)

note: the other child my brother had with the first wife --is now 29years old. (He did not turn out to be a good person .)he was raised by an Aunt.He has 10 children with his live in. & Now would like me to raise 5 of them. They are around the age of 7. NOW WHAT SHOULD I TELL HIM??(Of course--this Uncle will help out!) I may have to open up a day care.

the two parents in question need a swift ass kicking. You don't go into parenthood lightly, it is a full time commitment, and you do this knowing that NO MATTER WHAT YOUR CHILD COMES FIRST. I'd like to be in a room with them both for 20 minutes... I hate parents like that..... and about your nephew who doesn't want to raise the children he created.... I'd give him the what for also. |

this is what has taken a lot of my time away. (I believe i am a Good Uncle.) I do treat people better than i have been treated. but, thats ok.
