The sweet aroma of her hair
lingering long after her departure

The light lilt of her laughter
Playfully teasing my mind

A sudden shiver as I reminisce
the gentle touch of her hand

Provoked to thought
by her inquisitive nature

Mesmerized to the depths
of my being
By the Beauty of
Hers

Wrapped tight in the warmth
of her Love
This
Is
The Core of a Woman

your lips are red
your eyes are blue
i pour myself inside of you

a vessel to hold my secrets
a haven for all my pieces
a look without judgement

an advocate for my plans
the rock on which i stand
it's the woman that make "this" man

Bright as the moon in the night your love sets everything right
Your astonishing beauty is no ordinary thing it makes me wanna sing
Your passion overflowed what my heart can't hold
Lovely like the stars beautiful like the sea your love washed all over me blushing

At special request, this poem is called: A Look Inside..................A thousand words could and have been said of a women's; eyes, hair, lips and hips but that is not the core. That's just a precursur a beckoning invitation to the depths. The core....its well beyond the wisdom of the eye, the flick of the lock, the passion driven lips, and the hypnotic sway of the hips. He whom dare travel to the perfect balance, the eye of the storm, perhaps then you may be prepared for a lifetime of education and anticipation. Diving into that which the french call....L'oublier. Translated not "The Forgotten" but "the Bottomless". A journey seldom realized by even the women herself. Sailing through oceans of tears for every emotion, flying over the fires of indignation and yet still never possessing the key to the undestructable fragility. The place where logic originates and disapates, ironically where light eminates. The source of humanity. Mankinds beacon. The abyss of revolving doors and imageless mirrors. A universe of shoebox size compartments labeled in a language unbenounced to man.

I'm up late, dig this.....Shimmering moon light cascades across the water coming to rest on the flowing hair of her, so lovely dew drops cry out in desperation from beyond the mist, alone she sits in quiet meditation, unaware of natures contempt for eyes soft like butterflies wings, the fire flies surround her in an attempt to capture her beauty forever for the world to see, a vision of heaven on earth not seen before by mortal eyes, a mere dream of some unseen force she gently sways to sounds of unheard music played for only her, she wonders of things gone wrong not knowing that all there ever was is created in her image. DAMN!!!!! I'm copywriting this! LOL Later>

Ok you guys. I'm working on a piece right now based on a challenge "The Core of a Woman" and it occured to me that nobody is really going to do it better or through more interesting eyes than a man. So you male poets? How about it. Here's your challenge:

What makes a woman a woman? Write about the Core of a Woman.

Mesmerize us.

OK LET ME CLARIFY~THIS HAS TO BE IN POEM FORM~bigsmile Have fun!
