Try Advantage. It will kill the fleas and the hatching eggs. Sorry, it doesn't work on roommates.

It's time to vacuum and wash the bed linens in hot water, Jonny.

My dog got fleas a couple of years ago.

I feel sorry for the dogs when that happens.

Awww I'm just worried about Jax, we have wood floors here. As far as washing the sheets, not nessasary. Jax is sleeping now, and thats something he hasn't done in a long time.

Get rid of the fleas on Jax, problem pretty much solved.

A week to 10 days & you will have them hatching out! Now,vacum floors & furniture thouroughly,Get some Borax, it's with the laundry detergent in the store, sprinkle it under the furniture, under cushions, in corners & leave it for a few days then vacum it up & repeat in a week. It won't hurt your pets but it will clog up the fleas breathing. Wash all bedding & blankets or covers on furniture & dry in the dryer if you can.

That's what I was thinking. One clean doggie doesn't get rid of them. The fleas that the dog brought into the house will jump onto the dog even after the bath.

I used Advantage it worked wonders and quickly. Then I worked on the house. I vacuumed the furniture and carpet. I washed bed linens in hot water. I repeated. They had gotten into my carpet and were biting my ankles. Little buggers.

a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in their daily drinking water keeps fleas off of them....and bathing with Dawn dish soap...works better than all the chemicals out there!
