this is so stupid to write about but i figure someone may know an answer... for like the past 2 weeks my teeth have been hurting. i have no cavities and my teeth have always been perfect but now they hurt when i brush them... when i bite into ANYTHING... and like if i jump when i land i get a sharp pain in my teeth... i know sounds retarted!!!

Do you grind your teeth in your sleep? Or possible when you're not paying attention?

How would she know? She's asleep ! It's the same as people asking if I snore in my sleep.................I wouldn't know that either, I'm asleep !

Well you are the wise one...what is her problem then?

Not wise, just adding my views "as I see it"

I'm not a dentist, so I wouldn't know. I only made a suggestion. I am currently using Corsidyl for a similar symptom............... I still maintain that she goes to see her dentist ( like I will be doing next week)

Joe, your answer was hilarious!laugh but seriously, sinus infections can and do affect your gums. As for no dental insurance, if there is a dental college in your arm, you could get in there and also some cities have free health/dental clinics. You could do a search in your city on the net. Best of luck to you and hope you soon feel better. flowerforyou

As insane as it sounds you could have a sinus infection.

good point there.....

and if the sensodyne doesn't help....use crest proactive....i used to used sensodyne (used it for over two years and it never worked...) and i got a sample of that ProHealth in the mail...and now that's actually my preference...even reversed some cavity action i had going on in there

Did you tell them it is an emergency???? If it is an infection, then you could wind up with a lot of damage. Try getting in touch with your regular doctor about the sinus infection possibilities.

If it is some kind of infection, you could wind up very sick......please get medical attention sooner than middle of Aug. flowerforyou flowerforyou

i went to urgent care today... they did a facial xray and found a small spot (mass) in my sinus cavity between my nose and forehead... not sure what it is yet but he didnt look happy about it... gotta try and squeeze into my reg. doc. also... they said the teeth were probably my receding gums but led them to another potential problem....my poor nose has been bleeding for a total of like 8 hours today

sounds like youve got gingivitus, clean your teeth well and use corsodyl mouthwash, or even better see your dentist and get a ultra sonic scale done, and let the dentist check theres no infection in your gums.

if you have receding gums you may have a bacterial issue going on. to slow it brush more often floss, and use one of those little brushes that go between your teeth.. follow with mouthwash. you dont have to have a cavity to loose your teeth. u went from a normal tooth to a root canal in 2 months once.. so id just take percautions! as for your nosebleeds may be something totally different sounds like sinus to me... gosh hope you feel better soon!flowerforyou
