OK! So I have been coaching my boy for a couple of years now. He is 7 by the way. I had to take a backseat and assist this year due to politics. The new coach is thinking he is gonna run a spread offense with a bunch of 6 and 7 yo newbies. I don't know but this sounds half baked to me!!! Whatdya think?

Im an assistant LAX coach and the head coach tried some crazy advanced plays with our U9 team. The kids are to young for that kind of stuff. At that age, keep it simple and have fun. Learn the basics

Ha ha...yea the kids are way to young to understand all the rules of football..it will be just one big mess up there..just the basics I would say..and have themhave fun out there..Way too young for that tackle stuff..
