I've heard that the opposite of love isn't hate, but indifference. I can relate to that ...

Sometimes I think love & hate are opposite sides of the same coin. And just as a coin standing on its edge, love remains so if supported with vigilence. But that balance is fragile...easily disturbed by neglect and the resulting effects of other forces. Is the support communication? Yes, probably...open & honest communication...along with a real demonstration of the value of love (actions speak louder than words), loyalty, and the stamina to suffer through the rough spots rather than abandon love. Once the coin is tipped, who knows which side will face up?
