Boy this is such a big wide topic.I teach my kids maners. The school called me to pick up my son my up one day.I got there,And i could not beleive What i was hearing. We can teach all the manners we want at home. When they leave the house it seems it all leaves.I told the school that if he brings that crap home!I would bust his a$$!! Kids learn real fast where they can get away with that crap. But i say!!not in my house or around me.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best of us all on this one!!!flowers flowers flowers

I definitely agree, there seems to be a big lack of respect these days. I notice sometimes I'll say hello to someone as I pass by them, and they won't even give me a second look. Is it really so hard to be polite and give a greeting back?

As far as customer service goes, I think people like that get a bad rap. They do the best they can most of the time, so it's not always their fault things don't get where they need to be right away or an order is screwed up. I can only imagine the pressure a waitress can be under sometimes you know? I'm certain it's not as easy as some may like to believe.

Another thing too, is it me or are some people just cheap on tips? Like my grandma refuses to give more then the required amount, sometimes not even that. These people need money too you know, and half the time a lot of what they make is on tips. I generally give a good $5 or more when I can now, cause I know they work hard.
