This may be old news yet, it's still going on. Our Public Servants continue to sell us out to special interests.
At the bottom of the story is a way to have your voice heard. We need a large, collective voice that will shake them back into looking out for the interest and welfare of the American.

Help save our jobs and our country.

By Frosty Wooldridge

NewsWithViews.com

On November 4, 2005, 85 U.S. senators, voted into office to represent American citizens—instead—pulled out their knives and sliced American workers’ throats. What occurred is unconscionable and brutally obscene.

We already suffer nearly one million lost American jobs from H-1B, H-2B and L-1 visas to foreigners and their families. Instead of working, our citizens stand in unemployment lines while we listen to broken English from an outsourced job to an employee from India or “Push two for Spanish” on our phones.

Senator Robert Byrd, a democrat from West Virginia presented an amendment to Budget Reconciliation Senate Bill #1932 to strip 350,000 H-1B visas. Our senators, at the highest portals of power, voted to override the amendment and steal those 350,000 jobs away from Americans and award them to strangers from other countries.

Have you ever gotten a sick feeling in the pit of your stomach when someone you respected betrayed you, lied to you, cheated you or screwed you by treacherous means? This one makes me sick to my stomach.

Only 13 senators voted to strip the bill of the 350,000 visas for foreigners. The following honorable senators voted to stop giving our jobs away: Akaka, Byrd, Dayton, Dodd, Dorgan, Durbin, Feingold, Landrieu, Rockefeller, Stabenow, Jeffords, Inhofe and Sessions.

The remaining 85 senators, bought off by the US Chamber of Commerce and mega bucks multinational corporations that hold a campaign-funding gun to their senatorial heads—persuaded our senators to vote against all of us. They won! We lost, again!

What’s more, those senators want to INCREASE the current 1.1 million legal immigrants per year to ever higher numbers while they won’t take a stinking step to secure our borders against the three million illegal aliens crossing our borders annually. They lawfully would like to increase horrific numbers of immigrants while they wink and nod at the massive invasion of illegal aliens. Who voted these senators into office anyway and how do they get re-elected every six years? Pray, tell me, who, in their right mind, keeps voting Teddy Kennedy into office decade after decade?

Since 1996, the Senate stands as a vast wasteland when it comes to concern about immigration competition undermining American workers and over-taxation of our cities’ infrastructures. Why do they do it? They comprise a network of bought-off corporate lackeys under the thumb of money. That money ensures they get reelected because voters don’t take time to study what’s going on under their noses.

An American, Bill Gates of Microsoft, the richest man in the world, utilizes his immense financial power to add more H-1B visas. Gates stands as the premier example of corporate power buying off our elected officials. As if $50 billion in his bank account isn’t enough! Personally, I find Gates’ greed as sickening as Ken Lay of Enron.

Get this! We already suffer 900,000 H1-B, H-2B and L-1 visas that have stolen jobs away from American citizens. Those visas allow foreigners from China, India, Brazil and other countries to come over here and take jobs away from American citizens.

When our Senate had a chance to stop the next wave of 350,000 H-1B visas, they voted against you and me—and we’re the ones who elected them. What’s wrong with this picture? And, where does this insanity end? It doesn’t because not enough Americans speak up.

There’s an old story about a man who watched the Nazis take neighbors from their houses each night and he didn’t speak out. Finally, they came for him and there was no one left to speak out for him, either. In all my columns you’ve read over the years, I’m speaking out to you so you can speak out to Bush and Congress. Congressman Tom Tancredo speaks out because he sees this immigration invasion’s final consequences. The House’s Immigration Reform Caucus jumped to 91 members which is the largest caucus in the House of Representatives. It needs to jump to 435 members! How is that going to happen so we can stop further wholesale H-1B, H-2B and L-1 visas given to hundreds of thousands of foreigners?

My father was a 27 year career United States Marine who fought in WWII and Korea. He died while in service to our country. He said, “Son, when you know you’re right—stand up and speak out!”

Today, in America—our language and our way of life is undermined by the VERY leaders we elected into office at the highest levels. We’ve got a president who refuses to enforce our immigration laws and a Congress that does NOTHING to secure our borders from terrorist attacks and the onslaught of millions of illegal aliens.

If you don’t speak out, who will? It takes every one of us, every day!

Call your senators and congressmen at 1 877 762 8762. Demand they stop H-1B, H-2B and L-1 visas. Tell them to stop outsourcing, insourcing and offshoring of our jobs.

Join www.numbersusa.com and become a weekly faxer. We’ve got 14 million Americans who would love to work those jobs. Tell them you want illegal immigration stopped and you want a moratorium on all immigration!

Hum, so you resent well educated foreign born people coming to the U.S. to work legally. These people will pay taxes and most likely live fairly law abiding lives in order to stay in the U.S. The U.S. is made up of immigrants after all...but that is another argument.

Perhaps you should examine the real reason this is an issue. Fat, lazy, badly educated citizens. Parents who would rather turn on the t.v. than spend time with their children assisting and educating them.

If corporations in the U.S. have to import people for skilled positions it isn't the fault of those people who worked hard to qualify for those positions it is the fault of those who chose to sit idly by content to watch t.v. instead of educate themselves.

It's called slave labor stupid.

FAT? LOL

So I guess field laborers & drug dealers fighting our border patrol along the border are educated now? What about the sex slave trade going on exploiting women & children every day?

Frankly there is no excuse. I pity people who can't see the big sell out. They must be blind.

Aren't you just a little Broad and hypocritical?

H-2B Visas aren't educated workers. These are the largest increase in the visas hes talking about.
None of the visas are permanent, seldom lead to citizenship, and I dont believe any are required to pay US income taxes!

H-2B visas are for any unskilled workers. In the past they were generally agriculture workers, but with tightening illegal immigration laws at the State and local levels they are being used by the construction industry. They do hurt Americans who work hard, have skill, and use to pay well.

L-1 visas are designed to allow Foreign companies to send their workers here to work in their companies interests. Usually executives with their corporate HQ's, but not limited as such. They are temporary and almost never lead to citizenship.

H-1B visas require a bachelors degree. They only amount to about 1/3 rd of the visas mentioned, and are usually jobs that are in high demand and cant be filled by an employer from the available domestic labor force.
This doesn't mean Americans are Fat, lazy, and uneducated though. It simply means their aren't enough people in the field!

You say,
"Perhaps you should examine the real reason this is an issue."
Let's do that,

The same congress men who voted to increase the visas are also the same congress men who vote, year after year, against legislation to extend education opportunities so more Americans can pursue degrees.

A child growing up in America today looks down the road and knows their parents will never be able to afford for them to go to college. This leads to many who can not see a reason to try to get good grades, and let's face it there aren't that many scholarships available.

So now we have these children, with little chance of getting more than a HS Diploma. Just like most of their parents they are resigned to work at blue-collar jobs.

Honorable work, with the ability to raise a family and live a relatively comfortable life, even if at the lower end of the pay scale. If they work hard and take pride in what they do they might reach the middle class level.

But wait,,, now many of these jobs no longer exist because they have been outsourced, or the illegal immigrants (and now an increasing number of H-2B workers), have came in to do the jobs that are left even cheaper with no benefits and sending the wages home. They must now take pay that ensures them to live at poverty levels with no hope of doing better, and the economy crashing around them.

All this done to them by the same congress men who refuse to pass legislation to make the education available for them to pursue careers that are being filled by H-1B visas.

Why?, because the corporate lobbyist have bought the votes necessary to pass the legislation to ensure them a cheap slave labor force.

These same congress men also know that many of the H-1B visas are being filled by workers coming here from countries where education is available free to all citizens.

This is an unbalanced situation that takes opportunity from Americans and creates a growing rift between the haves and have-nots. It also instills a hopelessness in Americans, esp the children, that will one day explode into civil disobedience or worse yet war!

There are people in the U.S. who are highly educated, but cannot get jobs, not because they're lazy, but because the corporations want to hire cheaper workers and import them from overseas.

The corporations do not have to import people for skilled positions.

People who are already educated here in the United States can be easily retrained, but the corporations don't want to do that. explode explode explode explode

Ending corporate donations and so-called soft money would go a long way to putting the representation back in the hands of the citizens.

I don't mind that migrant workers want to (legally) enter and perform jobs. As long as we remain a sovereign nation these should go to citizens first, but if there is a labor deficit to fill, then okay.

As far as corporations getting to buy out votes however, this needs to stop. These days, America is the best democracy that money can buy.

Be it a SPiG, or multi-national, your vote and mine is easily overlooked.

No I didn't...she is looking at it from an unrealistic POV. She sounds like a lobbyist for these global rat finks.

Leaving out an entire discussion about how it's affected our society, our illegal immigrant crisis, undercut our workforce & denies the fact that big corps. don't want to pay wages or benefits is the BIG FAT LIE... BTW which is the only thing that was "FAT."

I don't understand why you have such a disdain for America and Americans.

Possibly, in your circle of friends and family will you find the characteristics you described in your second paragraph.

The reason they import labor is economics. Cheaper labor = higher profits. It all boils down to greed.

So there was an episode of South Park that reminds me of this article. It involved people from the future coming and doing the jobs no one wanted. Then all the uneducated Americans that do these jobs scheme to kill them under the battle cry 'dey took are yobs!'

Now I understand that people are losing jobs to outsourcing. That's one thing and I really don't agree with it. But Mexicans generally come here and do the jobs that no one wants. If all the Mexicans that are 'stealing your jobs' were to leave or get deported, do you even realize the immediate effect that would have on the nation?

Also, drug dealers are going to come into the country whether we like it or not, Quikstepper. There really isn't anything we can do about it without stopping all outsiders from entering the country. Honestly, that won't even come close to stopping it either, though.

The affect it would have on the nation would be, more jobs would open up to Americans who need them.

The fallacy is, they only do field work. They are being hired, Illegally in the higher paying jobs such as construction.

To get jobs, they are hired under the table, Illegal, or steal Identities, Illegal.

There are sever laws in place against those activities.

That propaganda term, only doing jobs Americans won't do originated from the Socialist, Extremist Organization, La Raza.

Well I disagree with that. The global rats want people to think that. The fence along the border should have been put up already. I said there should be an electronic fence to keep out illegals & the drug dealers too.

How can people who profess to "care" about the downtrodden when there is slavery going on in America... slave wages & sex slaves being made of women & children??? IT'S AN EVERYONE PROBLEM & instead of harrassing law enforcement we need to stand behind them.
