I believe it can work. You get all to know each other, especially when it takes you a long time to get together, and well, I'll know more after I find out for sure. LOL But it is working for me as far as building the relationship with trust and honesty and sharing feelings from a long way. Just have to work on it.

I used to think it wasnt for me until I met the most amazing man of my entire life who travels everywhere around the world...........but also he is going to be moving back to the south and I have to stay here to finish my education...........i wanted to end it because i didnt think that I could handle a ldr but I fell in love with this man and I cant see myself without him...........he is wonderful and because of that I had to give ldr a chance since im in love with him and we only have to wait to be with each other for the next 5 months............. tanz.. are you aware that your profile still says "looking for a man for dating"?

mine started out long distance...i was in georgia and he was in utah but i moved to him after a while...so yes they do work but long distance is never a forever thing either....someone has to make the choice to relocate I am relocating in just 5 days...from Wahsington state to New Mexico i wish you good luck shutterbug

I can see a long distance relationship working as long as you are both on the same page from the begining.I am not a person who has to talk to my partner 10 times a day and I have a hard time understanding that.But thats just me.Old fashioned in that I like to sit down and converse at the end of the day.Cuddle,or just hang out.My family thinks long distance won't work but I'm not convinced.....
