Closing my eyes and drifting back in time
To when I was a child
Letting those sweet memories wash over me
Running in the fields
Grass so tall, sun so warm
Falling down and laying on my back looking up at the sky
Making pictures of the clouds
Dragons,unicorns, castles in the sky
Warm breeze blowing through my long hair
Rolling over on to my tummy
Watching the ants and bugs crawl around going on with their life
Letting the warmth of the sun caress my back
Grass so high no one can see me
Hiding from everyone
Just being alone
Pulling a worn paperback from my pocket
Burying my nose in the words
Slipping into the magical world of what I read
More memories come
Winter days spent running through the snow
Climbing the hill
Racing down on my sled
Flying so fast and free
Nothing can catch me
Crashing at the bottom
In a heap of laughter and sheer joy
Hands so cold almost can't feel them
Not wanting to go inside
Rolling down the hill
Trying so hard to become a human snowball
Wind and cold taking my breath away
Continuing on with my winter play
Relishing this moment of slipping back in time
Reliving the childhood that was mine....

I wish I could go back to my childhood, it was all
so beautiful and painless!!!

GOD gave us memories so as we can never forget TRUE,
loves, and TRUE friends,,,and TRUE MEMORIES OF OUR PAST!!

That was beautiful CCP.I enjoyed that so much.Reminiscing is so
incredible,and I praise God for our ability of memory.Even if our bad or
painful memories are held within our mind,all of the good,loving and
