Lost soul

She was a lost soul, searching within herself
Always searching for life's true meaning
She always tried so hard, maybe too hard
Hoping to find someone, who'd love her for herself
Long lonely years, of keeping to herself
Living in her silent world all alone
Wishing on falling stars and thunderstorms
Trying to believe that dreams can come true, if one only believes hard
enough
But the same old story repeats itself...The stars only fall for others
it seems
She wonders what it is, that is keeping her going
What keeps her refusing to really give up?
What's keeping her dreaming for the impossible?
What’s keeping her faith so strong?
Broken promises and shattered dreams, are all she's ever known...you
think that she'd have learned by now
But there is a plan that's led her to where she’s at
There’s a reason for her being...whom and what she is
And one day soon she's been told,
All those long, lonely years, will soon be a thing of the past.
She just has to try so hard to keep her faith intact at times.
She has to learn to trust in someone,
Someone who will love her for who she is, someone who will accept her as
she is.
Someone who will be willing to share her life with…
never having to be alone again....
