Going through this very thing myself....
Got a girl as well as a couple of friends that I used to talk to every day...now, maybe once a month though I get texts everyday about being missed. But, between work, my Mom having recently broken her back, Having to help my father take care of Mom and my 98 year old grandma....What am I supposed to say?...."Hi honey!...Worked my butt off all day and went straight out to my parents house to steam clean the trail of granny poo out of the carpet and off the walls again (Every night at this point)...How was your day?" Seriously, everyone has thier problems and I just refuse to burden anyone with the bad Juju going on in my life, no matter how much they "Miss" me. |

That's not all men though. When my sweetie misses me he calls to hear my voice. Awww!

In my opinion, that is a gross generalization. But I totally hear you. Let me say, men really are just dense creatures. They say things and do dense things. Also their actions and speeches are often times completely inappropriate for the occaision. But God made them that way so that we'd take pity upon them, and take care of them like sweet babies. Hmph. Now THIS ^^ is the gross generalization ..

Obviously for any and all tendencies given to male or female genders it's a 'generalization' .. for goodness sake.
But best selling books (like Mars/Venus =) couldn't BE BSB's IF the MAJORITY of a gender didn't do thus and so ............... That's the best part of rules ..... that they HAVE exceptions

how about when he misses you.. is stuck in another state for work for a 12 week block, you are half way through that block of time.. and he finds out his estimated day of return.. only to tell you that instead of coming to see you.. he will be going out with his friends and will TRY to come see you the next day if hes up to the 2.5 hour drive after drinin all nite.... 
ok in his defence it will be the first time he will be home for his birthday in the last 4 years.. but still.... that will be 15 weeks since we saw eachother last!!!!
ok sorry.. back to your regulaly scheduled venting.. im returning the soap box to fran.. 
he should be offering for you to go too So one more day will kill you 
and he did offer for me to come too, but i have no one to watch the 4 lil people for a weekend.... |

I guess I find that kind of odd. Even when things aren't going well, I'd rather talk to the people I really enjoy talking to, than not talk to them at all. |

Men don't really miss our women....we look forward to the free time....
we miss the sex.....& when she returns it usually is great! if we do call its really to make sure she's not cheating...& we're still #1.... anything else is just filling time....
